Children
My background in psychology allows me to understand the individual and unique needs of the child throughout their developmental years. My experience in music affords me the expertise to develop productive and effective lesson plans and practice techniques. My goal is to cultivate a love of music that lasts through life and to meet each individual child’s needs on their own terms.
Adults
I offer instruction to adults of all skill levels. For beginner adults, I am flexible in the amount of structure I provide. I create my lessons individually for each student in order to meet the goals and expectations of that particular student.
For intermediate and advanced students - I offer detailed instruction in jazz theory and improvisation. I also offer instruction on composition and arrangement in a variety of genres.
